"ormaaj" is Dan Douglas, a programmer from the Twin cities, Minnesota. I've worked in all sorts of areas from web development to unix systems programming to .NET development to database. For some reason or other I find unix shells interesting enough to study and write about. Good documentation and reference material in the area of unix scripting and utilities is sorely lacking and needs to be modernized.
